Utilize Void energy to leverage the surrounding environment and construct barricades from it

Charging

Matter charging will improve the size and weight of most attacks
additionally, you must charge to cast some more powerful attacks

How to cast

Hold trigger and perform a scooping motion while near the ground
You don't need to continue holding trigger to keep the charge

Passives

Matter Manipulation

You can manipulate the Matter around you to protect yourself and others from incoming attacks
useful for redirecting incoming Matter attacks, and carrying around objects as shields

Half of the weight of any objects that you are manipulating is added onto you
it may become more difficult to move if you are manipulating heavy objects

How to trigger

Point at objects
Objects at a long range have a coarser manipulation, but can still be thrown

Bulky

You are heavier than others, and cause a small impact shockwave on hitting surfaces
due to your weight, it is harder for opponents to fling you around

Energies

Wall

Wall is a rough plane of Matter drawn from the ground, embedded into the floor on creation
Used as a heavy defense against incoming attacks, and for blocking off small doorways

BenefitsDrawbacks
+ Blocks most attacks- Quickly disintegrates after being dislodged
+ Can be matter-manipulated- Shatters with enough explosive damage

How to cast

Face palm upwards and pull up with no buttons pressed

Shockwave

Shockwave is a ripple in the ground that travels quickly from its origin, knocking up anything in its path with spikes
used against opponents on the same piece of ground as you, and for attacking opponents behind Walls

BenefitsDrawbacks
+ Impales anything in its path- Limited to the same piece of ground
+ Travels under Wall and Pillar- Not good against airborne opponents

Counters

  • It can be jumped over with the help of some knock back
  • Static environmental objects and sharp edges on the ground will block it

Charge then punch into the ground

Shotgun

Shotgun is a spray of small, high speed rocks that pack a punch at point-blank range
used for damaging opponents who are difficult to hit otherwise

+ Easy to hit targets- Very weak beyond mid-range
+ Quick to cast- Blocked by solid objects

  • It can be blocked by most solid objects
  • Very limited range

Spear

Spear is a large spike of Matter that can be launched at a high speed over long distances
used for impaling targets out in the open

BenefitsDrawbacks
+ Impales targets- Requires precise aiming
+ Deals strong damage- Can be blocked by solid objects

Counters

  • Moving quickly makes it difficult to be hit by it
  • Solid objects can provide protection against it

How to cast

Face fingertips towards the sky and jab upwards with no buttons pressed to create
Floats in front of hand after creation
Launch by jabbing forward with no buttons pressed

2 handed Energies

Pillar - Wall

Pillar is a beam of Matter drawn from the ground, it is larger than Wall and appears directly below you
Used for getting to high ground and modifying the battlefield

BenefitsDrawbacks
+ Gives easy access to higher ground- Doesn't ascend quickly
+ Combos nicely with Bulky passive- No cover atop the Pillar

Counters

How to cast

Cast Wall with both hands at once
Will continue to increase in height until you stop holding your palms upwards, or it reaches the max height

Spike shower - Shockwave

Spike shower is a variation of Shockwave, instead of a wave, multiple spikes will launch out of the ground
used for making the environment difficult to traverse, or dealing strong damage to a stationary opponent

BenefitsDrawbacks
+ Showers area with spikes- Not very precise
+ Deals strong damage- Easy to block
+ Impales targets

Counters

  • Solid objects can block its spikes
  • It is weaker against airborne opponents

Flex Energies

Slice - Void

Slice is a sharp projection of Void energy that can be used to cut objects into pieces
used for slicing apart things made from Matter

BenefitsDrawbacks
+ Slices Matter- Limited range
+ Difficult to dodge- Weak damage

Counters

  • Any solid object can block it, but some will get cut in half in the process

How to cast

Make a large, sweeping cutting motion

Mine - Energy

Mine is a stationary explosive powered by explosive Energy, it will explode upon proximity
used for laying traps, or blocking an escape path

BenefitsDrawbacks
+ Explodes on proximity with enemy- Your attacks can set it off
+ Multiple can go off in a chain- Visible and usually easy to avoid

Counters

  • It can be easily avoided by keeping your distance
  • You can set it off from a safe distance

How to cast

Charge then slap a nearby surface

Shield - Matter

Shield is a small disk of Matter that can be used to block some attacks
used for blocking attacks and emergency damage

BenefitsDrawbacks
+ Blocks attacks- Not very big
+ Lightweight- Can be destroyed
+ Matter Charge has spikes

Counters

  • Slice and Whip can cut it in half
  • Explosive damage will shatter it

How to cast

Swing hand outwards with no buttons pressed
Can be grabbed and pulled off hand then tossed like a Frisbee
